Whenever somebody announces an impending change and tries to calm people down by telling them "it'll be fine, it's all for the best", I get very, very nervous.
Usually, there is a period of a few weeks, perhaps months, where nothing much really happens, except for trivialities which everybody interprets as bad omens.
Then the actual change happens and of course it is not fine. It is followed by wide-spread disappointment, cries of protest and eventual resignation.
So I figured, let's at least make it interesting.
What's that thing in the frontispiece panel? I ain't telling.
