My position may seem harsh and cruel, but it's grounded in decades of harsh and cruel disappointments.
These days, when I hear about a promising TV show, I make a mental bookmark to check it out when it's run its course. Presently, I am mainly waiting for the jury's veridict on "Lost".
The disease of disappointing endings is not limited to science fiction shows, by the way. "Soap", for instance, also ended in a most disappointing way.
This is a classic example of me doing work for naught.
For the posters of "THE X-FAILS" and "BABBLE ON 5", I actually consulted photo reference and did a reasonable quick sketch of Sculder and Mulley as well as the B5 space decoration.
You can make out part of the portraits, but you'll have to take my word for it that the word balloon of the second panel hides a tiny tribute to the last, best hope for... whatever.
