Here's a piece of invaluable advice: Never, ever, try to pull out a single hair out of your nostril. It hurts. Trust me.
(Any friend or colleague looking up my nostrils for long hair will be made an example of.)

I spent several frustrating minutes trying to imagine and sketch how tweezers would align with a nose hair and what the hand would have to look like.
Then I decided mine was a futile and wasteful undertaking. I grabbed a mirror, tweezers and... well... "AUURRRGH!" describes it rather well.
