There has been some persistent mumbling about the last three strips not being particularly funny. When I get e-mail telling me point blank "I don't get it", it always shakes me up. Did I fail to make the joke sufficiently clear? Did I burden the reader with too many false leads?
I have read enough strips which may have been extremely funny in the eyes of the author, but which sadly failed to mesmerize me in the same manner. But I thought the pay-off was good enough. Maybe it was, perhaps it wasn't. Let me know, please. You should know my e-mail address by now (<me AT thisisme-comic DOT com>)...
