The wife and I spent two weeks in Andalusia, recharging our batteries. Well, sorta. We visited Sevilla, Córdoba and Grandada, travelling from city to city by car and soaking in culture. I may post more about the vacaction soon, perhaps including photos. For now, the important information is: We made it back in one piece, each.
This means S. no longer has to sweat over the updating process. I understand there was a snafu on Monday, but Wednesday should have been posted on time. He says he is very sorry for the omission.
We are certainly sorry for having had to return. The weather in Andalucía was wonderful, bright and sunny, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 96.8° F (36°C) and a minimum of 77° F (25°C) overnight. Back home, we were greeted by gray clouds and 55.4° F (13° C), a very depressing reception. Today the sun's come out at home, so I don't feel that bad anymore. But still: Two weeks of warmth! Sun! Gazpacho! And now, back to the drawing board. Sigh.
